During our last visit to Kota Bharu, my MIL presented me a box that kept all her jewelery (the costume ones) and asked me to choose what I wanted. Just as an aside, she offered it to my SIL first. I’m still lucky I got offered at all! T1, of course, had to jump in to choose what she liked as well, as though she could be wearing anything. But she said she wanted them to keep till she gets bigger and CAN wear them. Can you believe it?

It was fun choosing as many of MIL’s costume jewelery are very interesting, not the usual pieces you’d find in the stores today. They’re almost antique………and the best part, they come with history.
