We know that work will never end. It only increases and increases and increases. Despite the fact that I have made a conscious decision to cut everything else out of my life this year (everything except my kids and family, of course), I am still finding myself very busy. But at least it’s a more controllable kind of busy. I have so much work to sort out that there just isn’t enough time to get ahead yet I am completely unwilling to give up my weekends and nights to work. I’m just too old for it. The work will just have to wait and things will have to move at my pace. I am no longer working 16-18 hour days and all weekends. No more. I’ve been doing it for too many years of my life already.
