On a  daily basis, T2 will ask to be read to. The Hubs reads to her a few times a day, sometimes the same book over and over, because she refuses to change books. She has her favourites, for sure. And she is learning…..

The other day, we were in an open air parking lot whilst the Hubs went to buy some lunch and T2 suddenly pointed to the window and said, “Berr!! Berr!!”

I looked and saw that she was pointing to a flock of brown birds pecking on the ground in search of lunch and my heart leapt with excitement. There’s nothing like catching your child’s firsts, observing how she manipulates a toy or how she reads a particular book, seeing her reach each and every milestone of development…….I am so blessed.
