Whilst playing with her new PlayDoh set today, Tee served me a little plate of bright pink dollops that resembled mini Hershey kisses. I have no clue how she got it into that shape. Wait….let me ask my Mom’s maid.
Oh…..she used a toy scissors. Hmm…..gotta try it myself later.
“This is Hershey chocolate for you, Mummy.”
I stopped typing and faced her, “Yummm!!! You made it?”
“YES!” she exclaimed, all sparkly eyed.
“With lots of love for me?” I asked.
“Yes, just like you.” The expressions in her face are just too good. Whenever she doesn’t finish food that I’ve cooked her, I put her on a guilt trip and tell her…..but Mummy made it with so much love!
She then runs off and returns three minutes later with a PlayDoh container.
“This is a tupperware of chocolates for you to bring home. With nuts.” she smiles.
“Oooohhh……I love nuts! But I know YOU don’t!”
“Yes, and I bwought it to you because you can take it home, if you like.”
“Oh….you do delivery service?”
“Yes, but not all the time. You can call me when it’s finished to make your order.”
“Oh……you mean I can have more when I’ve finished? Such good service!”
Tee nodded continually and smiled with pride, then added,
“But sometimes when I am too tired then I won’t bwing it.”
“Ohhh…..” By this time, I was wondering if this patisserie chef actually did more talking than baking.
“Then you have to come to my shop!” she continued.
“Oh…OK.” I had started to lose interest.
“Uh-oh! I need it back now. Because my dishwasher needs to clean it.” Oh goody, I thought. Go. She grabs the container and leaves. Phew. But then comes back again!
“Here is another tupperware of hard nuts for you.” she offered.
I stopped typing AGAIN and looked at her, “Oh? But if the nuts are too hard, it may crack my teeth!!”
“Don’t worwy. I put it in the oven for one meeting and then after so many minutes, it’s soft aweady.”
I couldn’t help laughing because she’d mixed up the words meeting and minutes.
“Is it with chocolate too?” I chuckled.
“Yes, it is vewy soft. Don’t worwy. You can open it up and it is soft. You can squash it.”
“OK!!! THANK YOU!!!” Shoo-shoo, I gave my mom’s maid the evil eye that said PLEASE ENTERTAIN HER AWAY FROM ME!!!
Tee ran off to continue more baking and was kept at bay. Peace……
