The final day of 2010

Checking back on my To Do List for the last days of 2010, I have…….

Given drawing to contractor for pricing. Pray it’s do-able.

Missed my 14,000 unique visitor mark by a little. I guess everyone is on holiday!

Ran 2 minutes and walked 5 minutes for 40 minutes at 8am. Covered >3km. That felt good. Thanks, Su & Sheela!

A friend of a friend died from pregnancy complications. So sad.

Friends flying back to New York City – wish them a safe landing.

Organised the exact children that we will be helping, they are so poor, they don’t even want books or toys, they just need food for survival!

Did some photography for my loot to be sold. Made some sales these last few days. Booya! Thank you to all who support The Mamapumpkin’s Best Value Shop!

Did craft with T1 – very enjoyable. Our first project in making a gift.

Spent a few hours at the book store – YES!

T1 is very ready for Standard One, even though Mommy is concerned with the tough Singaporean syllabus for Math Primary Two.

Walked into A&W expecting the worst and actually came out satisfied. I guess only 1 branch does it right although the space between tables i.e. the walking corridors to get to your table was literally 2 feet, chairs back to back were less than 2 feet – totally ILLEGAL, but hey, this is Malaysia. Malaysia Boleh!

Collected Immortelle Precious Cream with my birthday vouchers from L’Occitane.

Portuguese crab curry was THE BEST!!! My mom took 3 days to cook it, beginning with pounding every single spice…..OMG, I didn’t take photos!!! Not to worry, little brother is making Mom cook it again before he leaves back to Melbourne soon. There’s a funny story to this – I had some crab adventures which I will share soon.

Listened to a friend being very sad and became a friend.

Stayed home and chilled out with the Hubs and 2 girls…..relaxing.

Organised for the Hubs to register a company for me.

T1 tried her damn-dest hardest to stay up for the fireworks but fell dead asleep at 11.50pm and when we tried waking her at midnight, she refused to budge. Yet at 5am, woke up crying because she’d missed the fireworks.

Spent my first minute of 1/01/11 boobing T2. She is teething, cranky and woke at 5am, 6am, 7am and finally 8am.

Had the most incredible dream…….felt so at peace.

On my 3rd cup of coffee right now and we have a birthday party to attend soon.

Feel like a massage………..

It’s all looking and feeling good.

Blessings to all my readers. A very happy new year!!!

  1. Wow. What a way to finish the year off with. That bit about a friend of a friend..that was sad…just goes to show that bringing life into the world is a miracle in itself. We chilled at home too…no big fireworks at this end (except the ones hubby and I made hooohaaaaaaaaaa!)…Happy New Year !!!

  2. Yay! Very very proud of you… I know how u feel about being tired. Yesterday, for some weird reason, I was exhausted after my run (perhaps the DAMN fireworks at midnite ~ HA HA HA!)..and promptly had a beauty nap for 1 hour. Not really beauty..coz, I could still hear my monkeys fighting..but, hell, you take what you can!

(oh..and I skipped my run, today… hee hee..JUST TOO TIRED!)

Keep it up! Or I’ll come after your ass!!! 😛
