Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Today, I give thanks for my Mom being still alive. I give thanks for the love from 2 happy, healthy girls and a wonderful partner that I am so blessed to be surrounded with. I give thanks for some truly amazing friendships and I give thanks for everything that God has put in front of me and through my journey of life. So, now I’m done with the thanks, I want to go shopping. Did you know that the Friday after Thanksgiving is called Black Friday? Would you like to know why?

Traditionally in the US, the Friday after Thanksgiving is the Friday that signifies the first day of the Christmas shopping season. Retailers would have big sales to kick this off and in turn makes lots of profit, which is black ink on the accounts books, so there you go!

What about Cyber Monday??? Cyber Monday is the following Monday where sales are still going on and everybody does shopping online. We learn something new everyday!
