I have been meaning to start Tee at Sunday School soon so I called the Church up yesterday and told them that actually, she hasn’t yet been baptised and the reason is because we haven’t found her some Catholic godparents. So I’m not sure if they’ll accept her but I don’t see why not.
Whatever the case, she is learning about God in school. In fact, she is much better behaved these days. The school is doing wonders but still some parents complain about this and that. What I have to say is, don’t sweat the small stuff.
Last night, during her usual prayers, Tee thought of her Nana because she knew that her Nana had just arrived back from abroad. In fact, she wanted me to take her to see her Nana today but I told her we’re already seeing her tomorrow.
So she went, “Dear God, please can you remind my Nana everyday and every month and every year, not to smoke. She always forgets and so you HAVE to remind her, OKAY???!!!! Please can you get my Daddy to buy me a Wii? Please make my Mommy feel better (she always thinks of me, real sweetie, even though I’m feeling fine already but to her, as long as I’m pregnant, she thinks I am crippled) and please make my baby healthy and strong. Amen.”
Sometimes, Tee makes me cry with her thoughtfulness and sweetness.
