My little princess, I was so proud of her. She was one of the only kids who didn’t have a parent with her and yet she was OK. We figured that since she was OK on orientation day, she’d be more OK on Day One of big school. And she was!

Although some of my friends made me feel really guilty for not accompanying her on her first day, I don’t think Tee had a problem with it. We had already psychoed her into thinking that she was extra special and brave and really didn’t need Mommy nor Daddy around. She was independent enough. She was confident enough to ask for anything that she wanted. She was trained to turn any negative thought into positive affirmation (our new thing!). She was a little trooper. And the big bonus? She is no longer the shortest in class!!! First time ever in her last 3 years of schooling life!!!

Till today, she still says she loves school. I’m waiting for the day when the complaints start rolling in when and if work starts getting tough. She does have a complaint though. There is this girl who shouted into her ear during lunch today. She doesn’t like this girl because this girl tends to call others names and is somewhat of a bully. Tee hasn’t been bullied as such but she has observed others being bullied and doesn’t like it one bit yet at that point didn’t have the skills to defend those being bullied. I want to train her how to defend victims and take bullies head on. No one deserves to be bullied.
