Today, I brought little T2 along with me to see the handsome osteopath. Slurp. It’s good that she comes along just so I don’t rape him. Anyway, we left home at 9am with me in a stressed condition as I did not want to be late (and of course, T2 had to announce that she must come along at the very last minute BEFORE she finished her breakfast lalalalalala) and you can never tell with traffic despite the proximity of his clinic to my home, and then once we arrived at Plaza Damas, I accidentally entered the wrong underground section of the parking lot which I did not want to do.
Ish!!
So T2 and I, we went round and round and round looking for an exit to go to the outdoor section of the Plaza Damas parking but I simply could not find it. Perhaps there was none! Then I made my way to the shopping mall since I knew my way to the clinic from there but because it was before 10am (mall opening time), the parking lot was dead and I was quite sure the entrances to the mall were still locked. I know many times that I have gone to BV before opening time and there has been only TWO entrances opened and that is the gym entrance and the main supermarket entrance. I wondered why there were a stack of cars though near the entrance to the mall yet so many available parking lots since it was still early. But still went round and round whilst the slow juice fast head (oh, I’m on a 3 day juice fast, did I tell you?) decided the best course of action.
My anxious little girl at the back finally said, “Mama, the door to the mall MUST be open. Otherwise where do all the people from these cars go???”
Good point. I was still doubtful though. There was no movement in the parking lot and the air was still apart from me and T2 going round and round still like 2 dunggus. I wondered if they entered a lift instead not from the shopping mall and situated at one of the staircase cores?
Finally, I had no choice as we were running out of time but to stop the car and park with the intention to walk wherever it took to get an exit out of the parking lot and find our way to the handsome osteopath……..
T2 encouraged me, “Come on, Mama, let’s go to the shopping mall door first. I’m sure the door is open. The people must have gone inside!!”
I thought what the heck, let’s go try it first, and lo and behold, it was! Geez! If only I listened to her in the first place.
The wisdom of little ones.
