T1’s Holiday Essentials

Whenever we travel, I will pack the kids clothes and then T1 will pack her own holiday essentials within her own knapsack that she has to carry herself. So if she wants to bring lots of stuff, she has to bear the weight after being warned already that she has to carry her own water bottle within her knapsack.

I usually don’t have time to check her knapsack before we travel as we’re always in a mad rush but as long as there are no sharp objects and knives/scissors, she can really bring whatever she likes.

So when we arrived at The Danna, I was shocked to see that she’d brought her toilet reading material – LOL!!!

.

She of course had to bring not one but THREE animals!!! The girl hugs all three animals tight to bed every night together with her baby bolster. The pink camel on the left is no longer pink but it was from Daddy when he travelled to the Middle East.

The little lamb in the middle is a snoring lamb that Aunty Cat bought her from Perth. It’s so cute. You press the lamb’s feet and it snores for 5 minutes and really puts you to sleep – LOL!

And last but not least, the brown bear on the right belonged to me when I was a baby right up to 3 years old. I remember very clearly dropping that very same brown bear into my grandmother’s big drain outside the house in Cheras and I cried and cried till a whole team of drain climbers came to the rescue. When they brought my brown bear out, it was all soaked in drain water and I cried even more! I’m sure the Rescue Team got brown bear immediately washed and disinfected and calm settled.

After 40 years, brown bear belongs to T1 albeit without eyes as I remember digging his eyes out as a child, Haha…..No one has ever replaced them, poor brown bear. He’s blind for life.

One morning, I saw Lambie (pronounced Lammy) all tucked in her own bed (hotel suite dining table serviette).

T2 does not have any favourite animals yet. I mean, she does. It’s ME.
