After we had finished at the Masjid Jamek mosque, we proceeded to walk towards the famous Merdeka Square where the Sultan Abdul Samad Building stood majestically, where once the British Government ruled. I’m telling you, the walk not only smelled of bus fumes but the walk along side these buildings smelled of PISS!!!!
How terribly, terribly unpleasant for tourists……as you know, many of them take exactly the same route as we did! Yeah, we became tourists in our own country. Why we pay tons of money to go abroad when people pay tons of money to come to us is beyond me. We haven’t even discovered and explored our own country in its entirety to warrant moving out. OK, I take back everything I said as I am going abroad next year. *sticks tongue out*

I loved the walk simply for the observation of the play of light…….

And finally we arrived at the grand entrance where Ah Kow Lorry chose to park. Don’t you just love the amazingly grand arch that invited you to the foyer, home to your Rolls Royce?
If you get the chance, go. Take your kids for a walk in KL. There are so many things to explore. Really. And whilst doing that, you will also discover some fascinating things. I know we did.
