After spending 2 full days where I was out the door by 830am and back home only after midnight (and this is due for a variety of reasons), on Day 3, I was about to book myself into Tanjong Rambutan (that is our famous local mental asylum). Tired to the bone and still having to keep the kids alive whilst they fought their raging wars, even Godpa Dave was pleased that he was only here for the weekend.

After doing some grocery shopping, I bribed T2 with some chocolate because she refused to sit in her stroller without SCREAMING and I don’t know what else I would have done because this baby can REALLY SCREAM!!!!

So of course, when T1 saw that T2 had chocolate, she wanted some too but I made them share it. I promised T2 that if she sat in her stroller, she could open the chocolate when we got into the car. In the meantime, she was happy to just hold the bar of dark chocolate. And of course, when we got into the car, T1 couldn’t wait to open it. You can’t win.

I instructed T1 to help feed her sister and I instructed T2 that if she wanted to eat chocolate, Che-Che would have to feed her. All good. One last instruction, eat it VERY SLOWLY and SAVOUR EVERY BITE.

Before long, there were already screams. T1 was mad that whilst she took baby nibbles of the chocolate bar since Mama had said to savour it, her little sister was chomping off the biggest bites her little mouth could handle. NOT FAIR!

And T2 was screaming because T1 had control of the chocolate bar and wouldn’t give it to her fast enough whenever her mouth went empty.

Oh, I’m just so glad they are in bed right now.
