This girl, what can I say? She is a little terror! The Hubs always says that in our house, there is the Thinker and there is the Enforcer. Who do you think is whom? Well, T2 is definitely the Enforcer because whenever she.......click to learn what next.

Hello Kitty Car

Posted on April 12, 2012March 17, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
I've never been a Hello Kitty fan. What's so cute about the big faced cat that's completely overpriced? But T2 kind of likes Hello Kitty so she was pretty amazed at the life sized Hello Kitty Mini Minor showcased at The Pavilion last.......click to learn what next.

Posted on April 10, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
I really don't like buying gifts for kids but yet I love giving gifts to kids. Get it? I just don't like commercial gifts. So if you don't get a toy from me, I am sorry. You might get a pre-loved toy or.......click to learn what next.

Budding Entrepreneurs at T1’s School

Posted on April 10, 2012March 17, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
Last year, I was fortunate to be invited by T1's school to attend one of their programmes with children that were meant to spark the entrepreneurial spirit within all the kids. It was one of the most fantastic experiences! As an employer, I wanted to.......click to learn what next.

Homeschooling my girls in Malaysia

Posted on April 9, 2012June 7, 2014 by Mamapumpkin
Lately, the idea of homeschooling has surfaced and I have been actively researching it. There are many misconceptions of homeschooling in Malaysia and before one makes any assumptions, one should really do some reading about it before allowing your eyeballs to bulge out.......click to learn what next.

Angry Bird Party

Posted on April 8, 2012March 11, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
Angry Bird seems to have fizzled out quite a bit, huh? When I first played it, I was hooked for all of 2 weeks. I get bored easily......I will play like crazy until I win, then quickly lose interest. But when Angry Bird.......click to learn what next.

Villamaria Pre-School

Posted on April 6, 2012March 11, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
The Hubs and I have heated arguments over sending T2 to school. He feels she is still too young, or really too tiny, to attend school. I'm telling him that despite her size, she'd be ruling the classroom! He prefers the British Nanny.......click to learn what next.

Inhibiting you child’s creativity

Posted on April 5, 2012April 4, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
Some children are naturally born creative. Some are not. But that's not to say that creativity cannot be developed or Edward De Bono would be out of business. If you were to give some children some generic toys such as building blocks, or.......click to learn what next.

My Little Dare Devil

Posted on April 4, 2012March 11, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
T2 has always been a dare devil. Foolishly fearless. Yup. She'd jump off a cliff if you asked her to. For the fun of it! Whilst in Kota Bharu, the girls each had their size appropriate bicycles (me included, heh! Remember??) But after.......click to learn what next.

Girls Playing Dress Up

Posted on April 3, 2012March 11, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
Every girl loves dressing up. I certainly had my fair share of dress up sessions from when I was 7 (dressing up my brother, heh!) till I was 14 (dressing up and posing with friends). My girls have started too, and initially they.......click to learn what next.

The Suite at The Danna, Langkawi

Posted on April 2, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
Another gripe I have of The Danna is again for their website designed for geniuses only. Seriously, it is NOT a user friendly website. Thankfully for us, we didn't make our own bookings or I would have gone ballistic! There is too much.......click to learn what next.

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
