Obesity and weight loss

Posted on October 5, 2007January 14, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
Ever since I met the Hubs, my weight has been climbing a steep ladder, step by step, over the last ten years. It is discouraging to say the least but thankfully, I don't feel the need to have the houston lapband just yet........click to learn what next.

The little patisserie chef at my home

Posted on October 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Whilst playing with her new PlayDoh set today, Tee served me a little plate of bright pink dollops that resembled mini Hershey kisses. I have no clue how she got it into that shape. Wait....let me ask my Mom's maid. Oh.....she used a.......click to learn what next.

The art of sharing and giving without expectation

Posted on October 5, 2007October 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
How often are we faced with decisions in life that make us think twice or thrice or for a very long time for that matter, before parting with something that matters to us? Be it knowledge, information, material goods or matters of the.......click to learn what next.

How to have a whole hour of blogtime

Posted on October 3, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
If you have a three year old. Invest in a bottle of liquid soap. Get a whisk and some containers, cups plus a coliander. Prepare a bath of warm water bordering on slightly hot. One naked toddler. Throw everything into the bath-tub and show.......click to learn what next.

One of the rare songs Tee loves that doesn't fall under the nursery rhyme category is Karma Chameleon. The girl has good taste. She goes around humming, red gold and gween.....red gold and gween.....kamakamakamakamakama chameleon......you come and go....you come and go....kamakamakamakamakama chameleon....... October 31st is a Wednesday – Halloween party anyone?

Posted on October 3, 2007January 14, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
We know of a few Halloween parties around but I'm not sure if Tee is old enough to appreciate a Halloween party yet. It may freak her eyeballs out. I'm sure she'd love the candy part just as much as she'd love tricking.......click to learn what next.

Cleaning 1800 square feet of flooring in under two hours

Posted on October 3, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
That's what I did this morning. I don't usually do housework. It's a lifelong allergy. But this morning, Tee had a dribbling nose so we stayed home to have a lesson in housework instead. How fun, eh? Twelve years old. Nine more years. That's when.......click to learn what next.

Ring-ring! Hello? Hey…..! Where are you?

Posted on October 2, 2007October 2, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
How many of you are guilty of calling someone up on the mobile, then asking them where they are instead of how they were? I certainly am. It must be that my life is so boring that I crave to know what the.......click to learn what next.

101 Dalmations Party

Posted on October 2, 2007October 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Last week Tee attended a themed party and insisted on dressing up as a Dalmation. I told her that it was impossible to find a Dalmation costume in Malaysia but she insisted she went as a Dalmation! Her logic was that if the.......click to learn what next.

Spanish Senorita attends her first hoity-toity event

Posted on September 30, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Without a Nanny, I usually decline all forms of invitations to these type of events. But last week, I had to show face because I was 'supposedly' part of the organising committee, a useless non-contributor. It was the least I could do. To.......click to learn what next.

Another reason why I don’t have a maid

Posted on September 30, 2007September 30, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
When we were in Australia, this maid complained that hoovering was too difficult. Especially with a hoover that keeps getting tangled in her little legs, was noisy and heavy. So her Nana got the little princess a new cordless hoover. See what happens when you.......click to learn what next.

Snippets from my little imp

Posted on September 30, 2007 by Mamapumpkin

I had Migraines for a whole year!

Posted on September 29, 2007September 29, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
1996 London - I suffered from terrible migraines. I was a walking log, seeing floating spots, feeling hammers smashing my skull, yet numb on one side of my then slim body :-). Nothing made any sense. Sometimes different areas would hurt more and.......click to learn what next.

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
