This is not my dream home

Posted on October 30, 2007January 14, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
Despite the lovely grass that Tee could potentially play in. She loves the outdoors, my girl. So this house would be perfect for her but it was overpriced for what we were getting. My husband and I are both architects, so we know.......click to learn what next.

Ways to afford a five million home

Posted on October 30, 2007April 30, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
In my case, I'd have to be a crook. Because within the next year, I don't see the money coming our way in order to afford the mortgage for our dream home. I see so many wealthy people in Kuala Lumpur and I.......click to learn what next.

How to save time when grocery shopping

Posted on October 30, 2007January 14, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
Book one or two friends to come along to do groceries together. Take turns shopping by dumping up to three kids in a supermarket trolley. One mom pushes kids and entertains them whilst the other mom shops. When finished, switch. That way, you.......click to learn what next.

Imagine what would happen if we didn’t have loans!

Posted on October 30, 2007April 30, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
Thank heavens for Secured Loans, I say! Imagine if we didn't, so many people would be out on the streets without a home. Seriously, how many people can afford their own home before thirty. So many people cannot even afford to buy their.......click to learn what next.

When I do things, I do them all the way

Yup. I never hover in between. I have always been like that. If I wanted to have a party, I'd have a super-fantabulous out of this world party. Whatever I do, I'd set out to do really well. I don't believe in doing.......click to learn what next.

Technology is making the whole world go round at a faster speed

Posted on October 29, 2007January 14, 2011 by Mamapumpkin

Tee’s interest in my past – pampers and playgrounds

Posted on October 29, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
These last few days, my daughter has been asking me a lot of questions about my past. She asked me just yesterday if I used to wear pampers to sleep like her. Huh? Did they have pampers in the seventies, people? I told.......click to learn what next.

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
