Posted on November 21, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
It's nice to see more and more women up there in the world. Condoleezza Rice is really something, but for Al-Joharah, who is Muslim from a Muslim country gets up, even if it isn't as high up, it shows the world is changing........click to learn what next.

Posted on November 20, 2008November 21, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
I chose to tempt fate yesterday. I don't know why I do what I do sometimes. It is a known fact tried and tested many a time, that whenever I get caught in the rain, even if it is the slightest drizzle, I.......click to learn what next.

What Agama teachers say to their students

Posted on November 20, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Recently, my 14 year old cousin told me of just 2 incidents where her Agama teacher (Religious teacher: she is Muslim, you see, so forced to take Agama classes in school) said things to her that were just totally absurd. I shan't mention.......click to learn what next.

Asking for favours

Posted on November 19, 2008November 19, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Where do you draw the line in asking someone for a favour? I am generally ok with people asking me DIRECTLY to babysit, do some free work for them, water their plants whilst they are on holiday, run an errand for them or.......click to learn what next.

For the longest time, I hadn't been lucky enough to get some BGTV offers and suddenly, I got some yesterday. Thank you, God!! So today, I was busy making online sandwiches but funnily, the last filling lost it's top layer of sandwich which.......click to learn what next.

No more birthday parties from here on

Posted on November 19, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Yes, we decided last night, the Hubs and I. What would really make him happy, and me too really, is that we no longer attend the many birthday parties that we have taken Tee to in the past. She will just have to.......click to learn what next.

Posted on November 19, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Someone has asked me to give their children some PMR history tuition and initially, I thought ok why not. They have no other option and I thought I could help a little. But after thinking more about it, I was asking myself, just.......click to learn what next.

I called for a family meeting

Posted on November 18, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Yes, I did, and guess what? Almost everyone was on defense mode. Who's calling this meeting? Who's part of the family? Why are we having a meeting? What have I done wrong? I'd realised exactly then, that I should have reworded it and.......click to learn what next.

The importance of family

Posted on November 18, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
This week, I have been thinking seriously about the family unit and what kind of family I want to build for Tee. As I come from a broken family and what the Hubs has isn't exactly my ideal either, I will develop my.......click to learn what next.

Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace 007

Posted on November 17, 2008November 17, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
I love Hollywood flicks as much as I love the deeper British productions because I love analysing creativity. Taking apart entire finished products and criticising them is what I was taught to do at University. Quantum of Solace The music at the beginning.......click to learn what next.

The Man Who Planted Trees

Posted on November 16, 2008November 16, 2008 by Mamapumpkin

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
