Tee has very fond memories of New York so it goes to show that from 3.5 years onwards, these kids have a memory of places. She may not remember every single detail but she certainly remembers what she wants to remember!!! Every now and then, she would ask if we could go back to New York. She likes New York for the long holiday we had, after all, she had Daddy to herself for a whole month! AND, she had Uncle Dave at her disposal……who wouldn’t like New York then?
She clearly remembers the outdoor double decker bus we took when we spent the day visiting New York City Attractions. She also remembers that Daddy had tore his pants on the bus because one of his side pockets had caught on whilst we were rushing out of the bus. Furthermore, Tee had left behind her jacket on the bus. And she remembers it being hot as hell as New york was having a heat wave for a few days. Thankfully, we were there long enough to enjoy New York without the heat wave.
But yes,I would love to return to New York too. The Hubs said we’ll go back in a few years when the new baby is Tee’s age when she went.
