This morning, after allowing me a lie-in because after having 3 days of straight 8 hour sleeps, I still felt like a bus had smashed into me. Tee played beside me in bed all morning till 10am, all by herself. Alone! For a whole 2 hours!

Till she woke me up because she was hungry.

Then she asked, “Mummy? Are you happy?”

I nodded. Definitely happy since she left me alone like a good little girl, in my desperate need of rest.

“Why? Why are you happy?,” she smiles up at me.

“I’m happy because I have such a special little girl as my daughter! You, you, you!!!,” and I kissed her and hugged her tight and swung her around till I felt her happiness and giggles of laughter penetrate my body.

“What about you. Are you happy?,” I asked as our eyes met at same level.

“YES!”

“Why? Why are YOU happy?”

“Because I have such a lovewy Mummy like YOU!”

She loves me, that girl.
