This year, due to the fact that we only had a very small family gathering, the presents got bigger! Well, that’s my automatic assumption although I did spend a few thousand still. *sigh* It all just adds up even if you buy people RM10 presents! That’s the disadvantage of knowing too many people and having too many people buy your daughters presents.

I received a brand new Blackberry Bold from the Hubs – SUPER YAY!!! I love it, love it, love it!!!! Tee received the Nintendo DSi from Santa (aka Nana) and the Hubs received a brand new PSP (something he’s always wanted and something I’ve always said no to, from Santa aka Nana). From his girls, and this was completely Tee’s idea, the Hubs received a coupon for a full Day OFF. That’s 24 hours to do whatever the hell he wants without us.

This year, I’ve spent close to 10k on charity (I know this is nothing to some people and yet a whole lot to others) and this is way more than we can afford, so next year, I’ve really got to plan out my budget carefully. It has left me feeling stressed out and seriously, charity is supposed to make you feel good, not lousy. But this year, I feel lousy. To top it off, at the very last minute, another friend asks me to do charity yet again and this time, I really had to put my foot down. There really wasn’t any more money to give to charity by mid December! We are in the red already!

Next year’s resolution? No more charity. Not unless funds are raised for it.
