Negative Thoughts
Do you know what differentiates the people who make it in life and those who don’t? It is their negativity. I’m not just talking about money here. It is everything. If you think you cannot do a backbend, you can’t. If you think you cannot do 500 pushups in an hour, you can’t. If you think you cannot run a marathon, you can’t. If you think you would never be President of the United States of America, you won’t. If you think you would not be able to get that dream job, you won’t. If you think your child will not come back from school happy, she won’t. Of course I state this in very broad terms but it doesn’t take a genius to work out what I mean. For example, if you’re not even American to start of with, then what are your chances ever to become the President, right? But let’s just say you WERE and American, what’s to say you don’t have the very same chance as your fellow American beside you?
So when it comes to your career, if you think that you will never be able to earn RM1 million dollars a month, you probably won’t. But if you thought you could, you would. It is the beginning. If you think something will work, it will work. I just cannot stress this enough and keep drilling it into my own kids. They’re getting it, thank goodness! Because I can tell you, there is a whole population out there who are negative as hell who have absolutely no confidence in themselves and set themselves up for failure time and time and again. They think to themselves, oh, that’s not for me. I’m happy with what I have. I’ll just make do. I have already reached my peak. It’s the furthest I can go. For fuck’s sake, here I am teaching my girls not to play with glass slippers but to crash glass ceilings instead and there you are, shame on you adult, who cannot believe in yourself or take the initiative to lead by example. Come on everyone, you CAN do ANYTHING.
Almost.
Again, don’t be stupid. You know what I mean.
There is evidence on this theory of positive thoughts versus negative thoughts. Dr Masaru Emoto, in his book, The Hidden Messages of Water, profoundly demonstrates the power of thought or other non-physical stimuli to influence reality. He took a sample of water from one source and dropped a small amount into 50 Petri dishes and froze them at -25 degrees for 3 hours. The samples were then refrigerated at -5 degrees and frozen crystals were photographed through a microscope.
This experiment was repeated with the same water which had been exposed to various stimuli, including music, words and prayer. Classical music, loving words and thoughts and thank you messages left crystals that were beautifully formed. And unbelievably, the water that was left with Heavy Metal music and words such as you make me sick, I will kill you, you are so stupid, you will never grow, created ugly, malformed crystals.
The power of thought and intention has also been proven through meditators focusing their attention on an electronic box. Their intention was to increase the pH of the water by 1 point. These electronic boxes along with their respective control boxes were then placed 6 inches away from separate samples of water. Considering that a 1-point pH rise in the human body would be fatal (ding-ding-ding Kangen Water people), the statistical probability of an increase occurring naturally was less than a thousand to one. Correct?
Yet, the boxes which received the focused intention did indeed alter the pH of the water.
How the fuck does that happen???
Thought impulses are forms of energy. When you begin with a thought impulse, you are drifting into the service the same stuff that nature used in creating this Earth.
So the next time you want to direct your intention, think. What exactly do you want to happen? How will it be exactly? Go into as much detail as possible and see it live happening right in front of you in your mind. Play out the colour, the words, the sounds, the smells, make it real. Rehearse what you say and what others are saying back. Imagine what you will feel and connect to that whole experience.
Then see what happens next……….depending on what it is, it could happen within hours, days, weeks, months, years……….but it will happen. Please report back your stories!
