Be a SPORT!!

Make everything more FUN by being yourself!!

What I loved about my Mom was that she was always really sporting. Anything you asked her to do for fun, she would. No wet blankets around here!

If anything, I was the boring old fart who mostly played safe and hardly wanted to participate. You know why? I was hiding.

It’s not cool to be so playful. WRONG!

There was a time when I would roll my eyes at my mother and now, my kids do exactly the same.

It was only because I thought I was cooler when in actual fact, I was the one with the carrot up my butt. Read insecurity….

Because of Mom, I now understand why stuffy people who always abide by rules must hold themselves to a strict decorum, even when it would serve them SO MUCH MORE to let loose and have fun just being themselves.

Done be boring

Being a great sport is fantastic because it means you bring lightness, openness, and good energy to EVERY situation.

DAMN GOOD FOR BUSINESS, OK!!????

You don’t have to worry about people judging you, and you can just live it up to shine your true light!

Being a great sport means being the kind of person who says “YES” to life, always joins in, lifts others up, and turns ordinary moments to FABULOUS memories.

Prayer

When Mom was diagnosed with cancer, she had 6 months to live and after countless medical opinions, my cousin brought me to this Miracle Chapel then in Nilai, where I asked God to PLEASE give my Mom at least 5 years to live so I could quickly gift her a grandchild.

She deserved this, at least this.

Then, I organised a SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY for her 50th at the KL Hilton and told her to dress up as a party girl in the 70s because we had to do a fun photo shoot my friend was organising.

Nothing to wear? Here, wear this ugly green dress I rented from the costume store.

Mom was such a sport!!

Being a sport makes you MAGNETIC.

It is all about your heart wrapped in humility, and your humour safe in a silent internal knowing….

And because of this, God gave her 14 more years to live and not one but TWO grandchildren to spoil rotten!!!

Finally, I too am a damn good sport.

It took some work!!

You have to be a bloody rock star in your life to be able to command the moolah.
