It is not unusual that I am totally zombified this week as T has been searching for my hand many times during the night, more than usual. So when she ran into my bedroom this morning excitedly shouting “Kwiwerr! Kwiwerr!” I wasn’t sure if I was still dreaming.

“Quick World?”

“Kwiwerr!”

“Quiver?”

T shakes her head, “Kwiwerr!! Kwiwerr!!”

“Clean Word?”

T shakes her head more furiously and starts stamping her feet alternately, “Mummy, kwiwerr!!”

“Mummy doesnt understand, sweety….what are you trying to say?”

“Kwiwerr!! Out there!” She points to my bedroom door.

I am totally lost and about to place my heavy head back onto the pillow when….

“Kwiwerr…Long Tayle…!! Long Tayle…..!!” Her hand stretched out from her bum to the sky.

“SQUIRREL ??!!!”

T nodded with a spring in her neck and her eyes lit up. She ran outside to the balcony/lanai as I heard her voice getting more faint, “Mummy come! Kwiwerr!……….Mummy come!”

And I pinched myself out of bed to follow her.
