How often do you come across a hypocrite?

The dictionary defines a hypocrite as a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he or she does not hold in order to conceal his or her real feelings or motives. This means, that lady A could be bitching about you behind your back saying how immature you are or how large your ass is or how badly you cane your children ladidadida……and then when she is in front of you, the tables turn. Your ass? It isn’t big at all! Oh, everybody canes their children at some point or other (not). Oh, if we weren’t immature sometimes, we’d be boring! Get the drill?

Sure, we all want to be nice. And we all should be nice. But is it really necessary to bitch about someone behind their backs? My Mama always told me that if you wanted to bitch about someone (and just to define how I’m using the word bitch, to bitch is to say anything with negative connotations), then you’d better be prepared to bitch about that person to their face.

So yes, I DO bitch.

A LOT!

But I also have the balls to stick it up your face and back up my opinions. Perhaps I may not be so bold as to bring up the issues unnecessarily but should you ask if I thought your ass was big? I would say yes. If I thought you might commit suicide over that remark, I might soften the blow and say yes, your ass is big, but lots of men like big asses! Get me?

Where does one draw the line of hypocrisy??? I think many women are hypocrites, without offense.

I guess T1 has a new lesson for tomorrow. Today, she learnt that if a friend could not decide if she wanted to be friends or not, then she was definitely not a friend. I shared with her how some friends only wanted to be friends with you because you are popular or whatever, but a true friend will always be your friend, whether you are the emcee or not. A true friend always looks after your very best interest and expects nothing back.

So, do you know any hypocrites? COME ON, LET IT OUT. I want to hear it!!!

  1. I was a bit tooo straightforward that ppl said I hurt their feelings! I was too honest that I left a ‘real’ comment on a blogger’s post and got myself into trouble! Now I learnt that we have to be a hypocrite to be liked by others! This is life!

  2. oh yes, i know lots of ’em hypocrites. as a matter of fact, there are 2 in the family…not my family but you know what i mean? so, how do you deal with hypocrites? i’m not one so whenever i see them, i don’t pretend to be nice and friendly.

  3. the one that is, is always your so-called BFF… I’ve learned my lessons just too many times and now I wonder if I do have any BFF or good friends after all?

How can you call yourself a BFF when you are jealous of your other BFF? All these BFF thingy are just so crappy! 😛 Like my hubby said, trust no one but yourself! hehehehe
