Happy Malaysia Day!

What did you do today my fellow Malaysians?

I had a very productive day on my backside ALLLLLLLLLLLL day cleaning out emails. Oh. My. God. My inbox went from more than 3000 emails to just under 600. I’m taking a break now. Can you believe it? I feel pain.

First off, let me apologise to all of you out there who have emailed me and never got a response. I don’t know why I had SOOOOOOOO many emails unread and even those read ones? I don’t remember ever reading them! Let’s say I’ve known Lady J for 6 years and she’s emailed me several times and given me such details etc. I have absolutely no recollection of anything she’s ever said. And this is the same for SOOOOOOO many people. I must be losing my mind and I’ll bet it’s the bloody pregnancies that have caused memory brain cells to vanish. It is quite scary really.

I also discovered that I’d been contacted by at least 30 random advertisers (in the last 2 years!!!) asking for advertising space on this blog and I never responded to any of them!!! How can that be???? Was I so tied up with a screwed up pregnancy that I completely missed all that? *knocks head on floor*

I’m really losing it.

Last night in my whirlwind of surrealism, I heard the Hubs get out of the master bedroom (I was in T1’s bedroom) so I went to join him in the kitchen, but he wasn’t there and the master bedroom door was closed. That was so bizarre, I swore I heard the door open and someone walked out! I asked him about it this morning and he said he did come out so I wonder how I missed him. *twilight zone music*

I read this today about Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (the cancer that my Mom has) – Due to its slow growth, ACC has a relatively indolent but relentless course. Unlike most carcinomas, most patients with ACC survive for 5 years, only to have tumors recur and progress. In a recent study of a cohort of 160 ACC patients, disease specific survival was 89% at 5 years but only 40% at 15 years.

Mom has been suffering for close to 10 years now. Mom, oh mom…..she is bleeding and we need to get her to the hospital tomorrow. I cannot talk about my mom.

Before I can even settle down into some kind of normalcy, we’ll be off again to another country.

This has got to be one of the craziest years for us.

But this backdated post got me laughing! It was something about T1 when she was three years old…….
