T1’s school teaches her on the Apple Mac computers and recently she came home saying that she got a new Mac and if we wanted her to do well for computers, then we should also invest in a Mac. Huh? Because otherwise how is she to learn and practise at home??? Wow. My 6 year old is asking us for a Mac. Even I don’t have a Mac. Yet. And my laptop is almost near its death. The Hubs has asked me to look into getting a Mac but I’ve never used one before so am hesitant. T1’s school gives us a discount so it really is worth getting but, but…..I’m so used to the PCs. I know everyone says it’s much more user friendly and everything but, but…..*sigh*

I guess I’ll have to read up on some laptop reviews soon. Maybe look into getting a Macbook? But those things have a battery life and they don’t do battery replacements! It will only last 2-3 years and then you’ll have to get a brand new one all over again. maybe we should get an iMac instead. Decisions, decisions…..but with an iMac, I cannot move around with it. And an iPad is really just a toy, not powerful enough to do my work in. I don’t know. Anyone?
