Girlie Weekend

Sometimes, a girl just has to break out of her comfort zone (or hell) and grab two great girlies to spend a crazy girlie weekend with. Oh, yes! I’ll be doing lots more of this from here on……

I shall let the pics show you what we were up to – THAT girlie weekend.

The bag looks a bit odd with her sun dress but it was made for her corporate high flying position at investment banking.

My first pedicure after 10 years. I chose the colour to match my dress.

They had feet fans, can you believe it? To blow dry them wet toes!

You can bet those weren’t MY legs……

There was Dom Perignon…….and a shocked girl. Or was it Krug? Obviously, I’d had too much.

And so had she…….There were men! That much I’d remembered. Good looking ones too! But I promised them I wouldn’t share……

But man! The place took great care of us. They gave out these free little boxes at 1am after all that alcohol ingestion.

FRIED RICE!!! Perfect.

7am the next morning, we were out for a run. I kid you not. That’s the power of women power. But by dawn, we had something delivered……

Who seemed lost at first…..

But quickly warmed up.

We took her for a drive in a Swede babe and delivered her to the burger man down that greasy street.

The next morning, we appreciated our feet. WTF! Someone’s wearing a toe ring! That wild thang!

Breakfast………….before we ended THAT girlie weekend.

To all my girlies out there (even the psychotic ones),

Dare to travel to places you’ve never been, dare to dream, for by doing so, you will never know when your heart may gleam. We are women. Sisters. Perhaps not through blood but certainly through many other mediums. Harness the strength that you have within. Listen to your hearts. Honour thy self. Believe in the core of your soul. Have courage to speak it with conviction. Release the beauty of your hearts and you can change the world. With love, anything is possible.

And here’s to more Girlie Weekends!
