I would not trust the food delivery services in Malaysia nor anywhere else, but maybe Japan. Yes. Perhaps Japan. In times of MCO, I complain ed to the Hubs why we didn’t just succumb to a food delivery service for the times when we didn’t feel like cooking, or to save a trip out to Covid City and risk getting infected. He was a flat no.
I retaliated. If we’re talking about hygiene, it is the same thing when we eat out at restaurants and we eat out a lot especially during the weekends! The Hubs said that eating out eliminates one extra step of food handling and I rolled my eyeballs.
On the very day we had this conversation, he records a food delivery guy parking across the road from our new house taking a leak and my dearest husband showed me the entire 1.5 minute video where after the leak, he puts his thing back inside, zips up his pants and tucks his shirt in to be neat again, before arranging a stack of food boxes to be delivered and then sets off.
Oh. My. God.
How difficult was it to stop at a proper restroom so he could wash his hands!!???? This is the level of rot that I feel about Malaysia. People are just so uneducated and they do not care! Nobody cares. It makes me so sad. I am free everyday and I am cracking my head thinking, what can I do to make a difference in Malaysia, for Malaysia?
It is the hardest task. I have spent the last 10 years actively educating women for better and it has been challenging. Women in Malaysia just don’t believe that they deserve better. They accept their lot in life and live the conveyor belt life subconsciously suppressed in their beings not realising that the world could really be their oyster. And get this, it doesn’t have to be that hard either. It certainly wouldn’t be what your parents went through because we have technology now and much smarter leaders in the world to help you get ahead.
But no. The fear freezes the majority of them. They have no grit. No fighting spirit. No desire for a life beyond their dreams. Heck, they don’t even know how to dream. I cry whenever I see the reality! Malaysia, what have we done to our women with the likes of serving men blindly quietly in our Doraemon voices?!? We can respect our husbands as they can respect us. We do not have to be Doraemons.
It is exactly these type of women majority who will suffer a silent pain. So, will you accept food delivery services in Malaysia? Considering that their levels of hygiene aren’t guaranteed, knowing that most food delivery service boys just don’t give a rat’s ass about how their boogered (or peed) fingers touch your food. Ladies, what if he had Syphillis?
