First time to Japan!
My first time in Japan finally happened! We were due to visit Japan some time ago but due to the radiation problem, we cancelled everything. Several years later, the Hubs is ok now to visit Japan but we are not here as a family this time round. I am here with Naturally Plus, the greatest company in the world!!! And that’s coming from someone who’s worked for several fabulous Multinationals except for local Hijjas Kasturi Associates when I first returned from London as a fresh intern.
Japan is a really unique country. I LOVE IT!!! It has all the intelligence and technology of the modern world yet preserves the traditional Asian values and decorum. As a first timer, I have been mentally observing the little things that Japan does differently from many parts of the world and I am in awe. I could really live here.
Of course it helps that the company that I am traveling with (20 really great power women and 1 man, come on men!!!) is superb, and the tour company that Naturally Plus engaged called Apple have been fantastic too. Everything has been smooth sailing despite the long journey with such a large group at that. They even filled in our embarkation cards and you name it, everything was done and we were treated like VIPs. When you are with good company, time flies.
Some of the first things I noticed that tickled my interest are as follows:-
1. There are vending machines everywhere selling everything and anything
2. All toilets are clean with electronically warmed toilet seats AND many have an automatic supply of toilet paper rolls!!! When one toilet roll finishes, a new one drops down. So perfect!!!
3. Immigration on the day I arrived allowed MATSALLEHS to cut queue. What the hell? I reasoned that perhaps they were regular entries.
4. Water is clean in Japan. You can really drink from the taps and it is clean.
5. The girls are very polished. No matter where they are from, they are always neat and well dressed.
6. Every Japanese person has been friendly and polite. They are ever so polite. I love it.
7. Litter is absolutely non-existent. Everyone throws rubbish in the bin unlike samseng people in Malaysia.
8. One is not allowed to smoke anywhere freely unless there is an ashtray around.
9. What else? I am sure I will be able to think of more tomorrow.
It is Day 2 now and I have laughed so much yet not needed my ventolin at all from all that laughing. This is a real testament of the strength of my lungs because previously, if I had laughed that much, I would have required my inhalers. Another thing Izumio is amazing for (and I keep testing this over and over again and it ALWAYS works) is that Izumio stops my wheezing when I have a whiff of alcohol. Because of Izumio, I can drink. A little. I was never a hard core alcoholic – LOL. And if I palpitate, Izumio lowers my heart rate. Instantly. I really cannot imagine my life without it.
We had good flights with a quick stopover in Bangkok (as we chartered an entire plane) and landed in Nagoya. Our first night was spent in a lovely village called Guji Hachiman of which my best Japanese friend’s Dad is the Mayor of. Sorry but I just HAD to add that in because the water is so clean at the village and the people are so nice, and it must be due to all his hard work! I was well impressed! We visited a fake food making factory to see how they made those pretty Japanese food displays and another shrine village callled ??? where they had shrine houses with straw roofs, and then were let loose at the outlet malls where I bought myself a really cute Moschino bag and scarf. Good deal!!!
The food has been fantastic which is a bad thing and it doesn’t help that Naturally Plus feeds us non-stop. Damn it! I had not one but two, TWO Hershey chocolate sandwich ice-cream bars this evening in copying my boss. He had 2, maybe 3. We have been having traditional Japanese breakfasts, lunches and dinners. AWESOME!!! And the best part? I am not paying for it!!!
The hotels were not top of the range but they were clean and already very pricey. Like right where I am typing this, we are at the Okura Hotel in Nagoya that stands out at over 40 floors. The view is amazing from up here. We had a mildly alcoholic slumber party in my bedroom this evening and tomorrow, we visit the Super Lutein Factory! Yay!
For my many, many customers who are currently consuming this amazing super food, I will try to gain some insight into how Super Lutein is so powerful and as always I would like to thank you for your trust in me in delivering the greatest non-supplement in the world. I ha. e to be arrogant but every time someone tries to introduce a new health product to me, I’d be smiling in my heart because I know better. I know that so far no other product comes even close. Not when you know what kind of dosages to take and how to consume the product appropriately. And I keep wishing they would challenge me because I would be only too happy to oblige.
After the Factory, we will be off to another major shopping exercise in Shinjuku followed by the big day.
I am so pleased that I will be coming back to Japan in December. I cannot wait.
