That is from 9am till 5pm.

Take your toddler to the KLCC park at 9am in the morning when it’s not too hot and before the crowd sets in. Rub sunblock on her or allow her to do it herself – more fun! Then let her loose and follow her around. Do not lose sight of her for even a second despite the many security guards loitering watching in the park compound.

Tee struggles on how to swing by herself…….Mommy wants to teach her how to be independent so she doesn’t need Mommy to push her on the swing all the time. *grin* Practise the different playground skills – climbing, crawling, descending, swinging and just plain dancing. *smile*

After 2 hours in the playground, bring your toddler into the shopping mall as it is getting too hot. Entertain her with some window shopping or mall rides till lunchtime. Serve her lunch. At KLCC, the Chinese restaurant on Level 4 does a good fish porridge (ask for extra fish) for toddlers. Chinoz has finger food tapas and pizzas that Tee enjoys. There is also Nandos roast chicken that Tee absolutely loves. There are no child friendly restaurants in KLCC. I’ve spoken to the management about making KLCC a more kid friendly mall but they said they just cannot afford it as every inch of retail space within the mall makes them good money. So……..the choice is yours.

Aunty Trina and Tee

Invite lots of people for lunch. Relatives, friends, and whoever who’s good at entertaining toddlers so Mommy can have a lunch break. In this case, we had Uncle Ben, Nana and Aunty Trina to take turns taking Tee out for walks and to see the water fountains, climb up and down the ramps and people laugh watch. At one instance, Tee insisted on wearing rollers on her hair whilst we were still at lunch so she got a lot of stares when playing outside. Thankfully, I was busy eating my lunch and did not have to admit that she was mine.

She was either very tired and needed to sit down or just loved the polar bear so much that she needed to touch it despite warnings that it was filthy.

After lunch, it is rides time!!! Broom-broom……..!!!

And of course, the whole world waits for Tee…….there is Uncle Ben, Nana and Aunty Trina; all twiddling thumbs in boredom whilst Tee decided which ride to go on next. When we finally manage to trick her into going home expecting her to pass out in the car, her energizer battery surprises us and forces the only sucker left who will play with her despite how tired she is.

Her Nana!!! Tee is the Queen and Nana is her princess and they are riding a bus to Harold’s house. She finally passed out at 5.30pm for 2 hours so obviously, we were partying all night long again. How exhausting is my life!

I know it doesn’t sound very exhausting here but believe me, it was. When you’re out and about running after a toddler for 8 hours, who doesn’t stop asking you questions, it is exhausting……
