Do you believe in Feng Shui?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

For me, yes and no. Yes, in that a lot of its principles make sense; no, because there are so many cons out there.

I’ve always wanted to bring in a Feng Shui master to see my house but never got round to it. Till last weekend. We brought in this recommended old man who drove all the way from Melaka to come to our home. The result?

He said there was a child spirit living in my home. YIKES!!! Apparently, it stays in Tee’s room (could that be why she doesn’t want to sleep there?) and only comes out at night but it is not a bad spirit. The spirit has been living with us for a few years and loves playing with Tee’s toys. As we live beside a jungle (jungles are known to be haunted), the spirit probably just found it’s way in here. And then he said that Tee must never go into the maid’s room at the back as it is a very dirty room. Hmmm……

He started placing his compass at strategic locations around the house and displayed to the Hubs how when he put the compass by the front door and other locations, the needle eventually stopped moving when it found it’s direction; but when he placed it at Tee’s toy area, the needle kept quivering/vibrating and not stopping. That is because there is a foreign entity around. The Hubs hair on his arms shot vertical.

Apart from that shocker, he said we needed to change the position of our bed as currently, money was flowing out more than it is flowing in. And he also suggested new bed positions for Tee’s new double decker bed (when we get it).

He suggested that we should ward off this spirit just to be safe as you don’t know what will happen in the future. He might start bringing in his friends!! So a week later, he brought in two stone lions that are so heavy (I couldn’t lift them!) and placed them in my lanai, facing inwards i.e. looking at us in the living room. Very strange.

Then, he brought some guys in and they performed some prayers with joss sticks and wrote some Chinese characters on certain places in my home, where the spirits liked to hang out. Spooky huh?

You must be wondering why this Feng Shui Master deals with spirits too, huh? Well, I guess he is gifted and can see things!!!

So……..have you had any experiences with spirits? Please share them!

  1. Eek! My bulu roma from the neck rose just from reading this. I did have my fair share of spirits when I was younger but it is best to not bring up about it. Will tell you about it when we get the chance to meet. 🙂

  2. I’m never ever visiting you. Hahahah. Actually, I think I would rather remain ignorant. Once my hubby told me he thought my Seremban home may have a spirit. I was sooooo angry at him. It was like my security was shattered. If I can’t feel safe in my own house, where else can I be safe? I’m one of those people who are super scared about these things.

  3. Aiks, that really sound spooky and as I was reading this post, my hair rose vertical too. Eh, I will never come to your hse ler, you come to mine lar, LOL…

  4. Eew, spooky! But becareful, nowadays got a lot of fake fortune/feng shui teller out there to con ppl.

  5. gosh..sure sounds spooky 🙂 my hubby and I believe in feng shui and we got our master to come to our house before we moved in to look around. we also got him to do the necessary things to set up my hubby’s ancestors’ altar.

he brought the altar into our house on the day we moved in and performed a ceremony. after that, he took my hubs aside and asked him who a middle-aged lady was. She was wearing a floral top. Arrrrgggghhhhhhh….I totally freaked out and wanted to move out. after he calmed me down, he explained that the woman is my hubby’s ancestor and she could be either his grandmother or his aunt. he told me that she is here to take care of us so we should not be afraid. but still….aaarrrrrgggghhhhhh 🙁

  6. goose bumps! i believe one. but there are too many fake ones out there, so don’t really knows who to listen to. before my uncle moved to his new home, he hired the feng shui master fixed up all the necessary stuff, so far, the family has been doin goog. son got married, got a little girl now. business is prospering too.

  7. my whole family also kena before, in this current house. Suddenly Jayden began to cry like mad in the middle of the night, everynight. Then I started to have diarrhea and couldn’t walk straight. And hubs was like so sick too. Then it lasted for more than 1 week and i couldn’t take it anymore, i asked my mum to book the guy at the temple. The guy wasn’t around but his wife was waiting for me. I went to the temple walked like hunched back and she told me “finally you came….” And i was like “huh?” She was kwan yin, waiting for my arrival. And she told me that there was a spririt staying in my house because we dun have an altar and we didn’t choose a date to move in, so happen the day we moved in was a bad day and the spirit followed us in and stayed in our living room. So after 3 yrs of waiting for food, finally it disturbed us and ask for food. We went to 2 temples and they al said the same thing. One asked us to live with it, be friends and one more asked us to get rid of it. Of course we get rid of it la..so did a few rounds of prayers. The spirit finally wenr off after the 3rd round of prayers. And everyone was well again. Didn’t tell this in my blog cos i know many will not believe things like this.. so i kept to myself.
