OK, so for the longest time, people HAVE regarded me as one. Many of my friends from the past call me the walking directory. Some call me the walking encyclopaedia although those must’ve had serious head concussions at some time or other.
I generally want to help people and through this blog, I get to sometimes do that. And even not through this blog, I still do that. But imagine when soooooooo many people come to me for help, or to ask the same question? Do you think I have the time to answer every single email? Or return every phone call?
I am a full time Mom without any help. The answer is no, it can get slightly tiresome helping people because I really should be helping myself first. If I helped all the people who came to me for help, Tee wouldn’t get any attention, the dishes would start piling, the laundry would fill the floor, the dust would form a dust carpet, the food in the fridge would get stale, and I would stink of ‘no time syndrome’. I almost already do.
Give me a break, please.
Having said that, I am not so heartless. By all means, ask me for help. But please understand too that I will help if I can help. And give me some credit. Some appreciation would be nice.
