Whilst shopping with my mother the other day, she noticed that I had SO many discount cards in my wallet. For practically every retail outlet we stepped into, I had a membership card for the brand. I have more cards in my wallet than I have cash! So if you ever see my fat wallet, be assured that it is really merchant discount card that is causing it’s thickness. Not cash.
“You have SO many cards! How come????!!!!!” Mom asked, shocked at my ‘kiasu’ exhibition of being a sale hoarder.
“Because! Because I can get things cheaper! Like Seaworld Tickets……why would I get them from just anywhere when I can get them at a better price?! Right?”
“Oh, I can’t be bothered.” she responded by shaking her head.
