I am so mad at the Hubs. Once upon a time (we’re talking years here), I suggested that we painted our guest bathroom door on the inside because it was plain, white and boring. I wasn’t looking at painting it just one colour, no. I was looking at painting some abstract art onto it or perhaps a scenery of colour. I don’t know, just not plain! It is a simple timber door and he agreed. I thought that it was such a nice idea to have me or Tee splash some colour onto it. At least our guests could admire the door whilst taking a pee instead of wasting time. Don’t you think an interesting bathroom is a lot more pleasant to pee in than those at a coffee shop?!
Now that I’m all set to start our lovely creative project, he suddenly says we cannot do it as he doesn’t want our home to look like a clown house. What???!!!!!!
All I need to do now is to decide exactly what I want painted on that door and then sort out a plan on how to convince the Hubs to agree to our artistic talents. Heh.
And speaking of doors, do you know that the Hubs has recently installed a brand new door for the helper’s bathroom and it is such a high specification door that it costs more than 10 times the bathroom doors at my Mom’s place? *MAJOR FAINT* My helper is going to have a nicer door than my Mom! Come to think of it, she probably even has a more expensive door than me!
