Seeing that it is only six weeks to Christmas, (yes, only SIX weekends left to go shopping, people!!!) and since I will not be around during Christmas, I did some online shopping yesterday (you need to do this NOW to allow for delivery time) because I hate crowds at shopping malls AND I get further trade discounts online. Since we’re going to Kota Bharu once the school holidays start, I thought that I might as well bring along our Christmas presents.
For my mother-in-law, who likes Liz Clairborne, I bought her a cream floral top in XS. And since I had to spend above a certain amount to get my discounts, I bought a grean pleated top for myself too. *smile* If I had bought it from the retail shops here, I would have had to pay double but when I got it online, even with delivery charges, it was cheaper. I’m well chuffed about my little purchase.
For my father-in-law, who is avid gardener spending every single evening in his garden, I bought him a garden tool as I noticed that many of his shovels and spades look a thousand years old! It’ll be heavy to bring along but we’ll manage.
And of course, since I have presents for my in-laws, I didn’t fail to bring along something for Tee, or she’d be asking for her present too!
