What about an Advent Calendar box instead? Then you could put in your own little treats like sweets etc. We have one at home, I alternate the sweets with little notes with special tasks or words for my girls. The tasks are not big – could be “give everyone in your family an extra kiss and hug”, “be kind to your sis” – just so that my girls know that it’s not about the sweets/chocs inside.
