Posted on August 2, 2011July 31, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
It's amazing. My husband is a nagger. He nags about how I spend money all the time. Now that I'm working, I have started spending a bit more and can you believe it, even when it is my hard earned money, he STILL.......click to learn what next.

Daddy the fancy fish chef

Posted on June 2, 2011May 29, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
Whenever we go on holiday, the biggest problem we have with the baby is food. T2 is completely unadventurous when it comes to food so when we were in Perth last year, we had to be really creative in feeding her ANYTHING. Everyday,.......click to learn what next.

Buying expensive watches

Posted on May 28, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
Recently the Hubs had to go get his watch repaired. When I found out how much it cost to repair the watch, I questioned why he didn't just get a new one instead! It just wasn't worth repairing! Thankfully, we have a relative.......click to learn what next.

My New Maid

Posted on January 16, 2011January 17, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
You didn't think I actually hired a new Filipino helper, did you? This was the Hubs trying his best to put T2 to sleep in a sarong, which she absolutely refused. Anybody wants a sarong contraption? Pregnant ladies? T2 wouldn't use it because.......click to learn what next.

Babies love climbing stairs

Posted on January 11, 2011January 11, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
Now why is that? We have no stairs at home so I was really surprised when T2 took to the stairs like a duck to water when we arrived in Perth in a house with a staircase! She was a natural! She didn't.......click to learn what next.

Posted on January 7, 2011January 7, 2011 by Mamapumpkin
One day when the Hubs took care of the kids, he got extremely sleepy (read exhausted) and crashed on the living room floor but guess what? If you think he could have stolen a nap, think again because my kids? MY kids? They.......click to learn what next.

Daddy is losing more hair…..

Posted on December 7, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Last month, Daddy celebrated his birthday on Guy Fawkes. We're an easy birthday remembrance family. Daddy was born on Guy Fawkes, Mommy was born on St Patrick's Day, T1 shares the same birthday as Roald Dahl and Stella McCartney (there! I always  knew she had.......click to learn what next.

Selamat Hari Raya Haji to all of you who celebrate and for the rest of you, I hope you enjoy the holiday today! Oops. I just realised that the title of this post doesn't quite go with a sacrificial religious celebration, does it?.......click to learn what next.

One difference between a male and a female!

Posted on August 12, 2010August 10, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
For those who don't know the Hubs and I, the story goes that I single-handedly picked him out from a sea of eligible, good-looking men, and scanned him from top to toe, inside and out, inerts and all; before I went ALL OUT.......click to learn what next.

Great mens ties

Posted on August 6, 2010 by Mamapumpkin

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
