Piggy Back Rides on Babies

Posted on August 9, 2010August 2, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
When T2 was younger, T1 would smother her and play with her by putting toys on her like a horsey. They are as different as night and day, my 2 girls. T1 is highly excitable, always screaming and dancing whereas T2 is cool.......click to learn what next.

Awwwww..........poor thing. We had no choice but to sleep train T2 because she hadn't learnt how to get off the bed safely and I couldn't spend every waking hour in the bedroom next to her whilst she slept, now could I? So into.......click to learn what next.

Potty Training a one year old baby

Posted on August 2, 2010August 1, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
No, I'm not THAT crazy. I actually believe that when children are ready, they are ready. Of course, if you want to start them early to familiarise them with the act, there is no harm though you may be wasting a lot of.......click to learn what next.

Helping in the kitchen

Posted on July 28, 2010July 26, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Wherever I can, I'd make use of the kids for some free child labour. It certainly gets things going faster, never mind about the mess. The Hubs will take care of that! Yesterday, I got T1 to peel a whole bunch of French.......click to learn what next.

Should babies watch TV?

Posted on July 19, 2010July 14, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
When T1 was a baby, I allowed her to watch those Baby Einstein videos that were supposed to stimulate babies. Those days, they weren't available in KL and we had to either purchase them overseas or stole them from friends. At some point,.......click to learn what next.

Lamaze Logan the Lion

Posted on July 7, 2010October 25, 2018 by Mamapumpkin
I must say, this is one of T2's favourite lions simply because it roars!!! It has an in-built mechanical noise maker although I wouldn't quite assimilate it to a roar but more of an old man burping. As always with Lamaze toys, it.......click to learn what next.

The reading pooper

Posted on July 7, 2010July 7, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
T1 now reads every time she sits on the pooper and she poops every single day. Sometimes, twice a day. Coincidentally, T2 squeezed out 10 inches (TEN INCHES, MY FRIENDS!!! And just for the record, she had already had 2 poops yesterday) of.......click to learn what next.

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
