Malaysian Radio – Hitz FM 92.9 with JJ and Ean

Posted on September 22, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
For the last 10 years, one of my favourite radio stations in Malaysia have been Hitz because they are just so stupid and funny. Stupid in a good way. Don't get me wrong, I have liked other stations too for other reasons but.......click to learn what next.

Racing cars at BSC

Posted on September 21, 2010September 19, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
How many of you have tried this? It costs RM10 for 3 minutes (if I'm not mistaken) to race these cars. My daughter loves it but I find it too expensive! We know some kids who have this race track in their houses.......click to learn what next.

New Farley’s Rusk from Heinz

Posted on September 20, 2010September 19, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Did you know? They come in mini sizes now! So much easier for babies to hold (you know how their fingers are SO teeny-weeny tiny?) and so much less waste when they drop the darn rusk! Well, in our case, baby T2 will.......click to learn what next.

Gripe on Public Toilets

Posted on September 12, 2010September 8, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Have you ever wondered or noticed, that in Malaysia anyway, the female washrooms are always further away than the mens? Why is that? It truly irks me. Women have a harder time going to the toilet. Women are the ones usually with children........click to learn what next.

Bali in KL

Posted on September 7, 2010September 2, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
There is this culturally rich restaurant along the main stretch of Solaris called Ole-Ole Bali that has a gorgeous spread of Balinese food but because I'd been there so many times this year, I got sick of it especially when the last time.......click to learn what next.

Learning the planets of the solar system

Posted on August 31, 2010August 27, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
T1 came home this week singing an unfamiliar song to a familiar tune. It is quite clever how her school teaches them to remember by making them learn the facts through songs, since children are naturally predisposed to learning musically and it works!.......click to learn what next.

Chawan, Bangsar

Posted on August 29, 2010August 26, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Have you ever been there? When they first started, I used to hang out here having breakfast with friends (read T1's friend's moms) as I was always too lazy to drop T1 off at school, go home and then pick her up again.......click to learn what next.

Digi Chairs and Service

Posted on August 25, 2010August 24, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
These are the chairs at the Digi outlet where we did the big crossover. T1 and I loved them chairs because they were stylish, multi-functional and comfortable. Digi really is the telco of the future. T1 said she could use the chair as.......click to learn what next.

Digi or Maxis?

Posted on August 24, 2010August 23, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
After being with Maxis for the last 13 years, yesterday our entire family moved over to the bright side. If we had moved over to Celcom, I'd have called it the dark side. Sorry, Mr Celcom. The move was fast, simple and painless........click to learn what next.

Blogging ups and downs

Posted on August 23, 2010August 23, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Apart from spewing verbal diarrhea all over the internet (which releases a lot of internal tension hence good for health), I love blogging because it gives my heart a good workout (again, good for health). Yes, thumpety-thump-thump......my heart aches tremendously and cries out.......click to learn what next.

Lose your baggage when you fly Malaysian Airlines

Posted on July 30, 2010July 26, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
I am severely pissed and deeply saddened. This is our 3rd encounter with disappointment over this air carrier. The 1st was when they broke T1's stroller and only compensated us RM200 when it cost RM800 to buy a new stroller. The 2nd was.......click to learn what next.

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
