It’s not what you know, it’s WHO you know!

Posted on October 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Haha.....that certainly applies in Malaysia. When I was working in the corporate world, I met up to 20 different clients in a day at my office. Some days were quiet of course, and I'd actually get a chance to catch up on a.......click to learn what next.

You do not need a University or College Degree to succeed

Posted on October 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Really. If you were confident enough, you'd know that. I had the good fortune of attending University after fighting really hard for scholarship and sponsorship. I told my Dad that if he wasn't willing to part with his money to send me, I'd.......click to learn what next.

Posted on October 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Within my family, there is Portuguese, Chinese, Indian, Malay, Kadazan, Japanese, Dutch (hello Francois *waving*), English and Indonesian (if you count my mother's maid). :-) The definite advantage of having such a diverse coming together of races is surely the authentic home-cooked food.......click to learn what next.

True love from a Japanese housewife

Posted on October 5, 2007October 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Have you ever heard someone say that he needed a Japanese wife? Usually targetted at the male species of the chauvinistic type, Japanese wives are ideal for pig-headed men who cannot stand to lose to any woman. Japanese housewives have a reputation of.......click to learn what next.

Don’t sing! Don’t sing! I know the lywics to this song!

Posted on October 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
For the longest time since conception, the only songs Tee knew were nursery rhymes and Whitney Houston's Greatest Love of All. Then, I hardly knew any nursery rhymes myself short of the common tunes like Baa Baa Black Sheep and Twinkle Twinkle Little.......click to learn what next.

The art of sharing and giving without expectation

Posted on October 5, 2007October 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin

That's what I did this morning. I don't usually do housework. It's a lifelong allergy. But this morning, Tee had a dribbling nose so we stayed home to have a lesson in housework instead. How fun, eh? Twelve years old. Nine more years. That's when.......click to learn what next.

101 Dalmations Party

Posted on October 2, 2007October 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
