Behaviour of a bossy toddler

Posted on December 8, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  Bossiness is a common trait in three year old toddlers but it is a trait that I am trying to change Tee out of. It's going to be a monumental task seeing that her Mother is bossy herself. *grin* It is not.......click to learn what next.

What shall I do with my newfound cash?

Posted on December 6, 2007April 30, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
I've recently come into some spare cash that I made myself thus can choose to use it whichever way I might. At first, I thought of doing some frivolous shopping (again!) in the form of a new handbag or some new crockery for.......click to learn what next.

Tiredness in toddlers

Posted on December 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
This post by Shireen reminded me of Tee's unexpected collapse. I must say I am more aware now of recognising the glaze in her eyes and do the hourly calculation of whether she should be tired or not. *grin*

Tee meeting her Uncle for the fourth time in her entire life

Posted on December 6, 2007December 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
My brother from Melbourne (aka the Durian) flew home early this morning so being the loyal family members, Tee and I rushed excitedly over to my Mom's place to welcome him home. But the bugger had gone to sleep after he arrived before the sun had risen........click to learn what next.

That is from 9am till 5pm. Take your toddler to the KLCC park at 9am in the morning when it's not too hot and before the crowd sets in. Rub sunblock on her or allow her to do it herself - more fun!.......click to learn what next.

In making decisions about my three year old daughter

Posted on December 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
I asked the Hubs this morning, "Would you allow Tee to stay with her boyfriend when she is 30 years old?" "When she is 30, she can do whatever she wants!" "What about when she is 21 years old?" "NO." "If she was.......click to learn what next.

My ancient phone, Sony Ericsson K610i

Posted on December 5, 2007October 8, 2013 by Mamapumpkin
I've only had my phone for less than a year but it is already close to being obsolete. That's how fast technology moves, faster than an eye blink. There are many reasons why I like my phone; the fact that it has a.......click to learn what next.

The man who contributed to making Tee, my cheeky monkey.

On caning children, should you? Shouldn’t you? – Sparing the rod with your children

Posted on December 5, 2007December 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Jo-N, MyLovelyMummy and BabyShern's Mommy has tagged me on this subject and I have also been meaning to speak my mind about it after reading about it ages ago at Colin's. The very sensitive subject of caning your children. In this instance, I will also refer the term caning.......click to learn what next.

Join Dove to raise self esteem

Posted on December 5, 2007December 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
When I first saw posters of beautiful women at the back of some public washroom doors several months back, I was relieved that someone was finally doing something about it. I made an enemy today

Posted on December 3, 2007December 3, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Of all my years on planet Earth, I've been pretty easy going and usually find good in situations or people. The only two people I ever came remotely close to disliking with an intensity were two boys in high school. One guy (I.......click to learn what next.

Foolish young employee strapped for cash

Posted on December 3, 2007December 3, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
When I first came back from the UK, I was earning a meagre salary of RM1,600. Within 6 months, I'd fought my way up to RM2,500. After a year, I switched jobs and earned RM3,500. Being a young, foolish girl of the world.......click to learn what next.

Toddlers making lifetime friends

Posted on December 2, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Tee attended a birthday party today and met these two little friends (shown below) for the very first time. They hit it off well and played together without a care in the world. Such innocence. I have always regretted my losing touch with all the friends I.......click to learn what next.

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
