Birthday Parties are all about Party Packs

Posted on December 2, 2008December 2, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The problem with having your kid grow up in an affluent environment, and I'm not saying mine is, is that they learn to expect things like party packs. Some of the kids I know, have the grandest of birthday parties resulting in.......click to learn what next.

This is what Tee and her Nana do at parties…

Posted on December 1, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
For logistical reasons, I drove my Mom and Tee to the party that was held at a public venue. And because it was a thunderstorm, we were instructed by phone to park right in front. But when we did with my humble Japanese.......click to learn what next.

Daddy, my lovely Daddy…..

Posted on November 25, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Tee and her father, they have this wonderful relationship which is completely separate from mine with her. I am the mother. I shower her with love and attention, abundantly. I shower her with scoldings and naggings, just as opulently. But when push comes.......click to learn what next.

Posted on November 21, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
It's nice to see more and more women up there in the world. Condoleezza Rice is really something, but for Al-Joharah, who is Muslim from a Muslim country gets up, even if it isn't as high up, it shows the world is changing........click to learn what next.

Getting sick from the rain

Posted on November 20, 2008November 21, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
I chose to tempt fate yesterday. I don't know why I do what I do sometimes. It is a known fact tried and tested many a time, that whenever I get caught in the rain, even if it is the slightest drizzle, I.......click to learn what next.

Asking for favours

Posted on November 19, 2008November 19, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Where do you draw the line in asking someone for a favour? I am generally ok with people asking me DIRECTLY to babysit, do some free work for them, water their plants whilst they are on holiday, run an errand for them or.......click to learn what next.

Posted on November 19, 2008 by Mamapumpkin

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
