Selling babies in Malaysia

Posted on May 25, 2010May 25, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
There are many people here who yearn for a baby yet cannot conceive hence babies for sale are a big business. You can purchase a newborn Indian baby for as cheap as RM5,000. That's cheaper than my hospital bill for delivering T2. Anyway,.......click to learn what next.

My beautiful daughter, T1

Posted on May 21, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
As of today, Tee becomes T1, upon her instructions. Of course, those of you who know us know what her real name is. It is the word asset spelled backwards :-) and she is our most prized asset of all time.

Ever since I was pregnant with T2, my world had been a cloud of vomiting, then babies and nappies and poo and breasts and milk and nursing tops and nursing bras and baby carriers and sleepless nights. I hadn't paid Tee any attention.......click to learn what next.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Posted on May 8, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
When I picked Tee from school last Friday, she excitedly told me that I wasn't allowed to look into her school bag. Knowing exactly why, I played along anyway and pretended to be really curious. She was so excited and could simply not.......click to learn what next.

Tee’s Sports Day

Posted on April 27, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Thank goodness, it wasn't raining. I wondered if there was a back up plan had it rained as it has been raining quite a bit lately. I was truly impressed at Tee's sports day as students of each house had to get together.......click to learn what next.

Probably one of the best sports days I've ever been to. And it was Tee's FIRST ever Sports Day. Terribly fun. We kept asking her what she had to do and she gave us the most hilarious answers, that we just had to.......click to learn what next.

Teaching your child manners

Posted on April 13, 2010February 1, 2011 by Mamapumpkin

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
