For the longest time since I was pregnant with T2, I'd convinced myself that I probably wouldn't have to deal with sibling squabbles for a while since the age difference between my two girls is quite significant - 5 years, but how wrong.......click to learn what next.

Both my girls love reading. Even T2, who is only a baby. Well, practically a toddler now. I must say I worked and prayed very hard in hope that my firstborn would be a reader because as Dr Seuss says, the more you.......click to learn what next.

T1 and Kylie fighting at Liz Claiborne. Check out T1's left hand claws??? *faint* What's up with these girls? Kylie is now T1's new kungfu friend. I am utterly saddened by T1's refusal to wear any of her pretty clothes. Her Nana has.......click to learn what next.

When all the kids received their concert costumes, all us Mom were as anxious like bunnies injected with sugar. Why? Because we'd paid good money for them and were all hoping our kids would be able to use them again at some point.......click to learn what next.

Rock Star / Biker Chick

The other day, my proud tomboy daughter, dressed herself up in a simple pink T-Shirt dress and wore a fancy hair band. Pretty......actually, her outfit didn't even match her demeanor. Seriously now..... And then I saw her tattoo. I told her, "The tattoo.......click to learn what next.

Making kids drink water

Posted on November 12, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Monkey see? Monkey Do! My kids are terrible. They have to be constantly reminded to drink as they hardly ever get thirsty. It's in our genes. My mother doesn't get thirsty. I don't get thirsty. They don't get thirsty. There was a year.......click to learn what next.

This morning, bright and early, we picked T1 up from Nana's and brought her for her 6 year old booster jab. Don't ask me what it was for because I am hopeless at things like this. Which is kind of SCARY because how.......click to learn what next.

The reading sisters

Mamapumpkin

I love green Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Then, she cleaned poop and became a student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others.....

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

Fast forward 20 years later, Mamapumpkin has retired her husband from full time employment, living on passive income and abundance and has never felt so happy and fulfilled in her whole entire life. She now realises that all the pain and setbacks, the cruelty and the evil, which seriously nobody has to endure, was her stepping stone to where she now is and who she has become.

She has no regrets and would walk exactly the same path if given the chance again.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who worked full time juggling several jobs - the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she got very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intended to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women could bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

Today, she wants to show all women that if she can, YOU TOO CAN. She will guide you if you need that guidance. She will lend you that belief if you don't yet have it. She will show you every step of the way how you can do it. Her next decade is about raising the lives of as many families as she can.

I love green

Mamapumpkin writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others from her knowledge and experience.

Her 2 girls used to drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7.....day after day.....and interestingly, in her past life before her awakening, her parents were Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she was a Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She's thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Today, she believes in ONE GOD and HE overpowers ALL RELIGION because religion is really Man's interpretation of the downloads. She however, has had an incredible experience with GOD. That formless substance, that Creator, that omnipresent highest form of energy, the ALL, the Spirit, and many more labels humans have called Him.

Gotta love it.

She'd love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
