As much as I’d love to be one, I just don’t understand numbers.
Twenty years ago, my mother took trading lessons after a string of several professions but many people doubted her (my first stepfather included, to whom she was married to then) and even told her she was going to fail. If it had been me and my husband told me I was going to fail, I’d have given him a manual vasectomy. Myself. And then divorce him. After signing everything over, of course. She did divorce him eventually.
Well guess what? She not only passed with flying colours, she is still a stock broker today and trading has been her livelihood for twenty years!
From all these years of trading in the stock market, I’ve seen my mother go through ups and downs as the stock market is cyclical. As long as you don’t drop your eggs into one basket, and use your own intuition when making decisions, you could stand to make good money. My mother has lost a whole million before in the stock market and she has also made a hundred and fifty thousand in a day. Do you like that kind of adrenalin rush?
