This morning, I woke up at 6.37am to find that my Toddler wasn’t beside me. I jerked myself up and started feeling around the whole king sized mattress, laden with pillows, soft toys and about 500 toddler blankets.
Zilch.
So I looked on the floor and there she was with one foot still on the edge of the mattress. We sleep with the mattress on the floor, for obvious reasons.
I think we need an Alcatraz bed. We could design one and patent it.

Hi BP–sooo funny. My little one didn’t fall out of bed much, but once she did and she bounced on the floor in the dark, got up, climbed back into bed and went back to sleep.
They are so resilient (smile)!

FYI, I have also put a matress for my toddler to sleep on the floor. In one night, he can make a few rounds of 360 degree turn all over the matress. So, no bed for him at the moment.
i suspect they reenacting their activities during the day in their sleep!! both my kids can turn around so much i can’t have them in my bed, maybe double king can la!
