These are the Raya photos that I managed to salvage off my handphone. It’s a pity I didn’t bring my camera to school that day. The children not only got to learn about all the Malay costumes again, they got to eat Raya cookies and made ketupat! It was my first time learning how to make ketupat as well!!! I was so excited. I had no idea how they left a little hole in the weaved leaves to put the rice in. Very interesting indeed.

Tee insisted on wearing this sunflower clip on her hair. Although it didn’t match her Baju Kurung, I didn’t have the energy to even mention it. The clip belonged to me when I was thirteen years old! That’s how long they’ve lasted and yes, I used to love sunflowers and actually wore this sunflower clip on my hair. EWE!!!!
