The biggest problem with buying organic vegetables, especially broccoli, is that every single time, there will be some worm or two, lurking within the florets. I always soak my broccoli now in SALT water so that these worms DIE and fall off into the water. Otherwise, you’ll be cooking them without knowing and eating them!!! Because seriously, you cannot see them hidden in the broccoli florets!!!

Actually.. if there are worms, means less pesticides.
Broccoli has the highest level of pesticides. My FIL (an agriculturist) discourages us from buying too much of it. Even from Oz. He has seen them spraying it to high glory.
