Yesterday, I did just that. And invited Tee’s Godma over for dinner, who did a wonderful job in entertaining Tee all evening. Please come over more often, Godma!!!

My Mother-in-law cooks a heavenly mee siam. She cooks the chilli boh with baby prawns on slow fire for a an hour or two the night before, then let’s the sauce sit. The next morning, she cooks the rest and by lunch, we are filling ourselves with Kelantan mee siam, to the point of becoming mee siam gluttons.

My mee siam technique was different but Godma and I still enjoyed it. I’m sure the Hubs did too, but of course, nobody will be able to cook like his Mama.
