In order to run a business succesfully, you need to have an organised database of very specific target market groups. I have TONS of databases collected from my business days but they are all just sitting there collecting cobwebs. I never knew I was going to be this stay at home Mom blogger! But who knows, they might come in useful again one day. You just never know!
In my previous line of work, I sold temporary office space to clients. I had mortgage lists as part of my database collection and you may ask why? I’ll tell you. I also had a realtor’s list and of course, many other lists. But the mortgage list was purely to help the realtor’s, since if I could help them, then they would help me in return. Realtor’s were just one avenue for bringing in business to my company. It was all about wheeling and dealing and working those contacts within the databases.
