My earliest experience with radar detectors was in the UK when my boyfriends used to SPEED their cars across the English motorways to get from north to south, and in order to escape police traps, they all had radar detectors in their cars which would alert them to slow down whenever police were near. Now, my experience with radar detectors undoubtedly is with babies as whenever I go out, my baby will know and whenever I return, she knows as well and will WAKE UP!!! Now, if only I could get my own radar detector to tell me when baby is hungry, sleepy or just plain bored, so I can best meet her needs accordingly.
